HUMOR: NUN SHOWS OFF HER CLASS TO THE PRIEST

HUMOR: NUN SHOWS OFF HER CLASS TO THE PRIEST

HUMOR:  NUN SHOWS OFF HER CLASS TO THE PRIEST

The priest is doing his weekly rounds and stops by to see the nun and her class.  The nun anxiously presents the class and then goes over to Mary and asks her “What do you want to be when you grow up?”  Mary replies “I want to be a nun.”  The nun smiles and pats Mary on the head.

They then go over to Billy and ask him “Billy, what do you want to be when you grow up?”.  And Billy replies: “I want to be a priest.”  The nun grins and pats Billy on the head.

Beyond the humor of the story the real issue is the problem with the value judgement where the nun thinks that it is better that Janie be a prostitute rather than a Protestant.  If some can make this kind of judgement there is a very serious problem with their their system of values and ethics.

Next they go over to Janie and the nun asks Janie “What do you want to be when you grow up?”.  And Janie responds “I want to be a prostitute.”  The nun faints.  Everyone scurries around trying to find water or smelling salts to revive the nun.  Someone succeeds and the nun sits up.  She again turns to Janie and ask her “Janie, what do you want to be when you grow up?”  And again Janie responds “I want to be a prostitute.”  The nun breathes a sigh of relief and says “Thank G-d.  I thought you said you wanted to be a Protestant.”
